Over 3 decades ago I had a dream. I wanted to be a champion. This goal fuelled my passion for life and drove me to work hard. The problem was I did not exactly know what I was dreaming for. Perhaps it was fame, notoriety or bulky paychecks.
Today, I know for sure.
I know that the best award a leader can obtain is to see those he/she serves Thrive in Life.
This past week I have taken some time away from the game. I invested in myself, my family and my company. I am on my way home from the 2011 Building Champions Experience. I have started to draft and work my Life Plan. I am looking at my Family and Business Vision again and stoking the fires to succeed. I am reviewing, praying and addressing areas in my leadership life that have holes.
I am also thinking about you.
